Creation Stewards International (CSI)

CSI Logo

Over the past 15 years CCK has trained thousands of people to honor Christ as better stewards of His creation. Many lives and landscapes have been changed.

Results have been amazing

  • Farming God’s Way has significantly improved crop yields, even in seasons of drought.
  • Tens of thousands of trees have been planted.
  • Women have saved firewood and money by using Fireless cookers.
  • Church leaders have recognized how the stewardship of creation can bring mercy to the poor.
  • Missionaries have learned how combining creation care with the Gospel can be an effective tool for sharing Christ’s love and for reaching the unreached.
  • Many people have been discipled into a closer walk with Christ.

We believe this approach to creation care fosters true development and discipleship, helping to eliminate dependency upon outsiders.

Why change?

We believe God wants to spread this vision to other places. What is being done in Kenya can be reproduced in other communities across the world.

Our new name and organization is casting a larger vision in order to impact more communities with this life changing vision and training.

Establishing a base of operations in the United States will allow easier access to partners and resources for global expansion.

What does this mean for CCK’s work in Kenya?

We have the same mission with the same heart for even greater impact! Our work will not change. Only our name is changing as we seek to expand our efforts globally.

When will this change take place?

As of May 31st, 2021, CCK will be changing its name to “Creation Stewards International”. Our location in Kijabe will be the Kenyan branch of Creation Stewards International.

Who else is involved?

Rev. Dr. Erik Hyatt will serve as the new director of Creation Stewards International (CSI) working with a new board and new office in the United States.

He will oversee fundraising and development for the organization while working with the Kenya team to develop a global impact strategy.

How does this impact you and our supporters?

Very little! CSI will still use “The Ministry Office” as our fiscal sponsor and you can still give in the same way.

By God’s grace, and with your partnership, we see a bright future for CSI. It’s a bold and exciting vision! Thank you for your commitment to making the world a better place by supporting CCK’s work in the past.

Your ongoing prayers and financial support are still needed and your gifts will be used for the very same purpose as we see communities impacted with the power of Christ through creation stewardship.

More information about this change and the future vision of CSI will be released in the coming months.
