Seeking to fulfill our Creator's greatest commandments for the flourishing of all peoples, creation, and communities in Christ.

Mark 16:15

“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”

This goal is based on what Jesus said was the Greatest Commandment & Commission in the Bible*

We believe that creation care, motivated by a right relationship with our Creator/Christ,  is the most practical demonstration of our love for God, our neighbors, and a means toward making disciples among all peoples.

“If Jesus is Lord of all the earth [Matthew 28:18, Colossians 1:15-16] we cannot separate our relationship to Christ from how we act in relation to the earth. Creation care is thus a gospel issue within the Lordship of Christ.”

    Pastor Samuel Mbugwa

  • “I now see how caring for God’s creation can be a very powerful way to disciple farmers and our fellow Christians.”

    Reverend Patrick Mureithi

  • “It is difficult for me as a pastor to preach to people who have no food. If we don’t preach this message about farming that honors God, our own churches will disappear soon, and nobody will have anything to bring to the church for the Lord.”

Biblical Principles for Creation Stewardship

Why should we care?

A vision for stewarding creation begins with God and his intention for the earth to be a place of abundant provision for his people. We base our work around 14 principles.

Colossians 1:15-16

Christ our Savior is the one who created all things. When we mistreat creation, we mistreat our Savior.

Matthew 22:34-40

Creation care can improve our ability to love our neighbor and fulfill the Great Commandment.

Matthew 28:19-20

It is an important discipleship issue that can help us fulfill the Great Commission.

Genesis 1:26, 2:15,
Matthew 25:14-23

Our dominion over the earth was meant to honor Christ.

Hosea 4:1-3

All creation suffers and groans from our sin.

Colossians 1:10

God calls us to honor & glorify him in all aspects of life.

Deuteronomy 11:8-12
Psalm 65:9-13

God cares for his creation. We should follow his example.

Genesis 1
Revelation 4:11

God wants all things to exist and have their being.

Genesis 1:31
Psalm 104:31

God delights in the work of his hands, and so do his people.

Psalms 24:1

The earth and everything in it belongs to the Lord.

Isaiah 58:9-11

God desires that we bring mercy and justice to the poor.

Romans 12:2

Creation stewardship is the good, pleasing, & perfect will of God.

Colossians 1:19-20

Christ has a plan to reconcile and restore all things to himself. If Christ is going to heal all his creation in the future, we should follow his example today, while we wait for his return.

John 14:1-3,
Revelation 21 & 22

Creation stewardship can improve our testimony & point people to our eternal home & paradise with Christ.
